Antalya with children on a rainy day: a flexible plan

Rain changes an Antalya family day, but it does not have to turn it into a hotel day. The useful plan is not a packed list of indoor attractions. It is one bookable activity, one sheltered area and an easy route back to your accommodation.
Check the kind of rain first
A brief shower and a day of persistent rain require different plans. Look at the hourly forecast before leaving and ask the operator directly if an outdoor element is involved. Boat trips, rafting, cable cars and exposed ancient sites are poor default choices when the weather is unsettled, even if a booking page still shows availability.
Do not replace every cancelled outdoor hour with another reservation. Wet streets, traffic and hotel pickups can slow the day, while children need more time for coats, shoes and toilet stops.
Choose one compact activity

Keep dry clothes and a simple snack close at hand, especially if the return journey crosses the city. If the forecast improves, add a short walk around the harbour. If it worsens, stop. The best rainy-day itinerary is the one that can shrink without losing money or patience.
