Kaleiçi, Hadrian’s Gate, the old harbour, Konyaaltı, Lara and the Lower Düden waterfall belong to the city area. Perge is nearby, but Aspendos, Side, Köprülü Canyon, Adrasan and Pamukkale require substantial road travel.
The boats depart from Adrasan, roughly 90–95 km west of central Antalya. Offers sold “from Antalya” normally include a hotel pickup and road transfer before the boat leaves.
The road distance is about 240 km and driving takes roughly three hours each way before pickup stops. Published day tours commonly last around fourteen hours, so this is a long excursion rather than a nearby attraction.
Konyaaltı is the long, easy-to-reach city beach and is mainly small pebbles. Lara, east of the centre, is the better-known sandy option. Kaleiçi itself has only a small harbour-side beach below the cliffs.
Not always. Some prices cover transport, guide and lunch but leave archaeological admission to be paid on the day. Compare the inclusion list, not only the starting price.
Kaleiçi and central sights work without a car. A tour is convenient for combined ruins, canyon activities and distant boat harbours. A car gives more freedom, but parking, heat and long drives still need planning.
